Shot at a number of popular scenic lookouts on the islands of Hawaii and Oahu, Hawaii, this series looks at the neat, often repetitive and sometimes playful ways in which visitors arrange themselves while admiring and photographing views from designated lookout points.

In the 1950s, to satisfy tourist expectations, this eastern stretch (among others) of Waikiki beach was artificially widened – and its natural reef environment damaged – by around 80,000 cubic metres of sand shipped in from surrounding coastlines.
