Leah’s series ‘Framed’ (or, ‘Centre Place’ on this website - full series) has been selected as one of twelve final entries in the seventh CCP Documentary Photography Award. The $5,000 biennial award ‘presents a survey of the best contemporary Australian documentary photography in series format’, and was judged this year by Stephen Dupont, photographer; Naomi Cass, Director, Centre for Contemporary Photography; and Louise Adler AM, CEO and Publisher-in-Chief, Melbourne University Publishing

The exhibition opens on Thursday 6 August 2009, 6–8pm at the CCP (404 George Street, Fitzroy), and runs until 27 September. It will tour Australia in 2010-11.
